Works closely with, among others the, Lead Enterprise Architect, GTA leadership team, KAE's, CMO, CITO Team, and Solution Architects.
Establishes the conceptual, logical, and physical technical architecture for solutions, aligning standards, patterns, and practices across programs and delivery projects.
Defines Enterprise Architecture that supports and optimizes systems landscape and provides a high-level blueprint of systems, services, and technology needed to support and enable the business strategies, demands, objectives, and vision of the company.
Provides strategic thinking and advice to the leadership team. Guides project portfolio, schedule, budget, and key investments to achieve a strategic architecture.
Provides effective architecture governance, ensuring compliance with Global standards, audit, and compliance.
Essential Job Functions
Ensure alignment of company's enterprise architecture to company's business strategy.
Interface with our company-IT to participate in creating program solutions and technical plans.
Create and maintain enterprise wide IT architecture vision, responsible for defining IT technical strategies and roadmaps.
Develop and maintain cross system architecture models, views, and documentation (service catalogs, technical inventories, system landscapes, etc.).
Support Business Leads to align business systems strategy with IT technologies and future solutions.
Provide the IT architecture assurance/conscience for IT enterprise.
Investigate and propose technology strategies that can better support the company'sbusiness strategies.
Set standards/guidance for regulatory compliance, technology use policy, systems security, and best practices.
Develop and maintain relationships with business and technical staff, and leadership to strengthen cross region views and align strategies.
Occasional Travel: Kansas, New York and California.
Preferred Skills & Abilities
o Experience in leading major enterprise architecture delivery in key business areas for banks, insurance companies and/or investment banks
o Knowledge of approaches (benefits and pitfalls) to deliver incremental business benefits from technical project initiatives within the insurance industry
o Demonstrate ability to align between enterprise architecture, business architecture, and technical/solutions architecture to deliver innovative solutions
o Proven ability to drive initiatives without any formal authority in an ambiguous environment, relying on well-developed influencing skills, as well as technical knowledge
o Experience turning research ideas into actionable designs. Able to persuade stakeholders and to champion effective techniques through delivery.
o Knowledge of the real world experiences associated with emerging application technologies/approaches and their application in the insurance industry
o An IT consulting background with experience influencing and delivering large global business and transformation programs
o 5
years of enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, and system design experience
o 2
years of enterprise architecture leadership
o Advanced degree in a relevant field is desirable.
o Excellent 'all around' communication skills, performance management, good delivery practice and techniques, as well as fluent written and spoken English.
KNOWLEDGE:
o Enterprise Architecture expertise in delivery, development, and technology trends/directions
o Financial services domain knowledge, including expertise at the intersection of risk, finance and customer domains
o Business Application usage of enterprise architecture
o End-to-end enterprise architecture program execution knowledge and leadership
o Ability to guide/teach others in architecture principles - strategies, roadmaps, landscapes, technical standards, solution diagraming, risk communication
o Familiarity with software development lifecycles such as Waterfall or Agile/SCRUM
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

o Strong leadership & C-Suite communication skills
o Experience in operationalizing Enterprise Architecture, Architecture Governance, and Architecture Leadership
o Experience with distributed, shared responsibilities, enterprise architecture teams

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
